And with all the rumors swirling
around the hub city today, Coach Tuberville was in New York with a couple of Red Raiders who
were being honored on Tuesday.
The National Football Foundation honored both Gabe Rivera, and Cody Davis. Rivera was being inducted as a member of this years College Football Hall of Fame class, while Davis was being honored as one of 15 scholar athletes. Rivera starred as a defensive tackle at Texas Tech from 1979 to 1982. While Davis is finishing up his career as a Red Raider, starting all four years, and leading the team in tackles each of the last two seasons.
