1. Suspect Questioned in NYC Subway Death

Police questioned a suspect on Tuesday in the death of a New York man who was pushed onto the subway tracks in Manhattan and hit by an oncoming train. A freelance photographer for the New York Post snapped a photograph of the victim before he was hit. He says he was hoping the flash from his camera would alert the train of the man in the tracks.

2. Fresh Storm Soaks Northern California

A new storm system made its way through an already soaked northern California on Tuesday. The storm prompted new flooding concerns in parts of that region.

3. Banks Enjoying Best Profits in 6 Years

U.S. banks are enjoying their best profits in six years, and lending a bit more liberally. The improvement suggests the industry will sustain its healing and help boost the economy after the worst financial crisis in decades.

4. N.H. Police Conducting Honesty Test in Stores

Police have been leaving a purse filled with cash and a bag with a DVD player inside in unattended shopping carts outside stores in New Hampshire in an effort to find out whether shoppers are honest or not. Officers say most holiday shoppers have taken steps to return the items.

5. Drink That Sickened Kids Removed

Officials have removed a drink called Marley's Mellow Mood after several students in New Jersey were sickened by the beverage. The drink is promoted to reduce stress.
