A five-vehicle crash, including a police cruiser, sends several people to the hospital, one in critical condition.

It happened just after midnight Thursday morning, at Glenna Goodacre Blvd. and Avenue S.

Police say 19-year old Jason Chad White's pickup was driving eastbound on Glenna Goodacre and hit a moving car. He ricocheted off of it, and them slammed into a parked car, which sent it rolling. Then the man slammed into a police cruiser.

Police say the force of the crash was so intense, it sent one of the two 19-year-old women in the first car he hit flying out of the car. EMS took Megan Michelle Rough to UMC in critical condition. Both of the women were wearing seatbelts.

Police say White was also injured, but did not say to what extent.

He was arrested for two counts of intoxication assault.
