It seemed to be smooth sailing for Bon Jovi fans wanting to get their hands on tickets for his March show in Lubbock.

You'll remember that wasn't the case in October when George Strait tickets went on sale.

Then, we talked to several folks who were upset, they said, because of the Civic Center's wristband policy.

The same policy was in effect when Bon Jovi tickets went on sale, but we didn't find any unhappy customers on Friday.

Earlier this week, wristbands were handed out with a number on them.

That number determined where the customer was placed in line on Friday.

Everyone we spoke with, who lined up at the Civic Center before sales started at 10:00 a.m., was able to get what they wanted.

"I'm surprised that there are not as many people here, but it turned out to be pretty good! I was second in line, so I didn't have to wait too long," Monica Border said.

As of noon Friday, tickets for the Bon Jovi show were still available at www.selectaseatlubbock.com and all Lubbock Select-a-Seat locations.

The concert is Sunday, March 17th at the United Spirit Arena.
