Tommy Tuberville resigned from Texas Tech on Saturday.
No head football coach for Tech- even if temporary, could hurt the players in the upcoming bowl game.
It could hurt recruiting.
One thing it's not hurting is business at Red Raider Outfitter.
"Raider nation is coming together. They're uniting and I think they're showing it through the course of wanting to wear that Double T around the state, around the nation right now," owner Stephen Spiegelberg said.
While the fans wait for a new head coach to be named, the holding pattern isn't hurting his business.
"As soon as that announcement was made, I think we had 50 people shopping in the store. They heard it over the radio, everyone started cheering. We turned around, started looking at our internet orders. All of our internet orders started picking up, and today they're overwhelmed with internet orders," he said.
