Now we know there are at least 2 coaches to replace and probably many more to come, but the most important slot, is obviously the head coach. It appears the search has been narrowed to three guys at this point.

You have Baylor's Art Briles, who looks to be the most coveted commodity. He brings in a proven record for being able to win, after turning around the Baylor football program, now Baylor just gave Briles a raise and a contract extension.

But, when he got to Baylor he tried to have a clause put in that would allow him to leave if Texas Tech came calling but Baylor denied that, and we are hearing that money is not an obstacle for Tech in terms of buying Briles out.
