Tech AD Kirby Hocutt arrived back in Lubbock late Tuesday night after meeting with three potential head coaching candidates.

Hocutt began his day by flying to Houston, where sources confirm he met with Texas A&M Offensive Coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.

From Houston, Hocutt flew to Anderson, South Carolina where he met with Clemson Offensive Coordinator Chad Morris.

Finally, Hocutt flew to Nashville, Tennessee where he met with Jerry Gray. Gray, a Lubbock native and former player at the University of Texas, has been an NLF coach for 15 years and currently works as the Defensive Coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.

Gray has expressed interest in taking the head coaching position at Tech.

Hocutt's plane landed back at the Lubbock International Airport Tuesday night around 10:35. He was whisked away by a car that pulled up to the plane as soon as he landed and did not take any questions about his day of meetings.

Stay with EverythingLubbock.com and the Red Raider Nation as the quest for a new coach continues.
