At the South Plains Oakley Store, they're hoping tech fans show their allegiance to their new coach by wearing his signature sunglasses.

"When you think Kliff Kingsbury, obviously the 'Frogskins' are his signature look," said Steven Gutierrez, Assistant Manager of the Oakley Store.

The Oakley Store excited that Lubbock's newest celebrity loves their "Frogskin" sunglasses.

"Him wearing Oakley's I think that it is you know awesome, so I think its definitely part of his cool factor," said Gutierrez.

That cool factor is also attracting fans of the female variety. Some even think he looks like movie star Ryan Gosling.

"I've been on Facebook since Kingsbury has become the coach and all the girls are talking about him like crazy. So I definitely think he is attracting the girl population. They really like him, I really like him too," said Tech student Carly Smith.

"They will let their husband or boyfriend go to the game to watch football, and maybe they'll go to watch Kliff Kingsbury," said Tech fan Sunny Park.

"Yes he will definitely attract the female population at Tech to come to games," said Laura Sides, also a Tech student.

Whether you've been a longtime fan or just jumped on the Kliff bandwagon, there's no shortage of Kliff fever in Lubbock.

"We are definitely excited about it and we are hoping people are going to come in here and rock the "Frogskins" in his honor," said Gutierrez.

The team at Oakley said obviously they want fans to come in and buy the glasses, but they're hoping to get a visit from Kingsbury himself.
