LUBBOCK, TX: The hunt for a new Texas Tech baseball assistant coach is in full swing. The main target appears to be Dan Spencer who is a Tech baseball alum from 1985-1987. Spencer is the pitching coach at Oregon State where he and the Beavers are fresh off their second consecutive national championship. Spencer is currently talking to 3 to 4 schools, but he is expected to make a decision on his future in 2 to 3 days.
