Severe Weather Wreaks Havoc Across the South Plains

A line of severe thunder storms moved across the Lubbock region Friday afternoon, leaving a trail of damage in its path.

As of Friday afternoon, power lines were down in several areas around Lubbock, at least two structures had been blown over and dozens of drivers had gotten into accidents.

LP&L reported at least 43 outages as off 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Ron Roberts is in the KAMC Weatherlab tracking the storms and the KAMC news team tracking the latest damage and outages a cross the region.
