It's finally distribution day for Toys for Tots and we want to send a big "thank you" to all who donated to this year's campaign.

More than 15,000 toys were collected from various drop-off locations, including the South Plains Mall.

The toys will now be distributed to about 6,000 deserving kids across the South Plains.

Marine Corporal Amy Siegfried said each child will receive two toys and a few "stocking stuffers" this Christmas.

"I mean, it's really just a blessing to see how excited the families are when they get to come and they see a bike and they say that's perfect for my daughter, so it's really a blessing to be part of something like this," Cpl. Siegfried said.

Tuesday, December 18th is the final distribution day and the Marines still need volunteers to help hand out toys.

If you have time, head over to 512 East 42nd Street between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
