1. 16 States Under Winter Storm Watches

Nearly 20 inches of snow has been reported in Colorado from a wild winter storm that is plowing through parts of the country this morning. Sixteen states from Wyoming to Pennsylvania and New York are under winter storm watches.

2. Long Island Car Pileup Leaves 1 Dead, 32 Injured

A massive car pileup on a major roadway left one person dead and 32 people injured on Long Island in New York on Wednesday. Dozens of vehicles were scattered across the road, some even catching on fire.

3. Gas Prices Fall to 2012 Low

The national average for a gallon of regular gas fell one cent to $3.23, a low for 2012. This price is less than a penny more than the same time last year.

4. Boeing Tests Wi-Fi with Potatoes

Boeing used about 20,000 pounds of potatoes as stand-in passengers to test airplane Wi-Fi. The sacks of potatoes replicate the way humans absorb and reflect electronic signals, according to a spokesman from the company.

5. 'Anchorman 2' Set for Christmas 2013

Will Ferrell is coming back as Ron Burgundy for Anchorman 2 just in time for Christmas next year. Paramount set a December 20, 2013 release date for cult classic movie.
