From LISD:
We have become aware that individuals are using social media, including Facebook, to allege rumors of violence meant to disrupt school and create fear. Law enforcement officials have investigated the claims thoroughly, and have determined that there is no credible threat. We know students and families are an important part of the solution in any situation in our schools, and they would be the first to be informed of any credible threats. We will be taking aggressive action against persons responsible for using social media to create fear. Parents are always encouraged to contact their child's principal with any concerns. The safety of our students is our first priority. We look forward to having your child in school tomorrow to complete a very successful semester of school. Have a safe and happy holiday.
