The high school basketball slate
got started early today, with most area schools being out for the Christmas
break.
The Frenship Tigers took advantage
as the ladies were taking on Dumas in the first game of a double dip.
In the 2nd quarter tied at 12, Dumas
swung it around and Ryanne Henderson, who knocked down the corner jumper, 14-12
demonetes, and they led 19-12 at the break.
But Frenship storming back in the
third thoigh as blair barker hits the three to draw frenship closer, still
19-17 Dumas though.
Then the Lady Tigers did it with the
defense, off the steal, Colette Kitten, got the lay-up and the foul, and made
the free-throw, Frenship took the lead 20-19, part of an 8-0 run...
And the ladies never looked back outscoring the Demonettes 31-16 in the second half and they win it 43-35.
