Husband Charged With Murder for Stabbing Wife, Starting Fire

The Lubbock County District Attorney's Office filed the warrant late Wednesday afternoon.
In the warrant, prosecutors say Alonzo killed his wife, Denise Alonzo, by stabbing her, choking her, beating her and then burning her body.
According to police reports attached to the warrant, Alonzo stabbed his wife in the couple's bathroom and then dragged her body into their bedroom.
When police officers arrived on scene, they found Denise Alonzo's body laying on the floor of the bedroom, badly burned and with stab wounds.
