North Lubbock Homeowner Opens Fire on Burglars

Lubbock police received a "burglary in progress" call around 5:20 a.m., Thursday.
When they arrived in the 100 block of Avenue S, the homeowner told police he fired several shots at the two burglars. He said they were wearing block hoodies and ski masks.
He said he may have hit one of the burglars, who he saw limping away from the scene.
Officers are still hunting down the suspects, and continue their investigation.
No word if the homeowner will face any charges.
