Lubbock and Woodrow Fire Departments responded to the fire spending at least an hour battling the flames.
A car parked by the house was also damaged by the heat from the fire.
Richard Hernandez of the Woodrow Fire Department said the fire was an electrical fire caused by too many heaters plugged in at the home.
Two adults, two children, and an elderly man were in the home when it caught fire but everyone made it out of the house uninjured.
Hernandez said the house is a total loss and the family will not be able to move back in anytime soon if they are able to move back in at all.
