Frenship Tigers Protected Their House Against Wylie

High school basketball students head back to school this week and they will start district play, but the Frenship Tigers getting a non-district tune-up tonight against the Wylie Bulldogs.

Wylie came in as the 5th ranked team in the state in 3A.

In the 1st quarter, Frenship came out hot, as Bradley Mitchell grabbed the rebound, and decided to go take it himself, and hit the nice bank shot, and put the Tigers are up by 2.

Then at the other end, the bulldogs showed their inside game as Hunter Hererra, found Tyler Hicks, and the bulldogs were back within 2.

Later in the 1st, Thomas Martinez was feeling it early on, and he hit the bottom of the net and gave Frenship the 14-10 lead.

Then, with time winding down in the 1st quarter, and the Bulldogs closed the quarter on a 4-0 run thanks to this Christian Nichols bucket, But the tigers take care of business they beat Wylie 58-53.
