Chris James, the Lubbock Regional Vice President, said customers will be impressed with their new store.

"To me a lot of it is about the experience like our other Market Streets here in town, this one just to me goes the extra mile."

The new Market Street offered new specialty items to customers.

"Bulk is something that's growing. Sections like bulk and gluten free items and things like that, we've really expanded our offerings in those areas."

Market Street also bought and stocked local products that were fresh and helped local businesses in a tough economy.

"We really try to emphasize Texas products all together...the apple orchard in Idalou we are using their bulk raw honey in our store here in our bulk section...and really honey is a unique item that actually if you use honey that's locally grown it helps people with their allergies and stuff that they have in this area."

The Quaker Avenue location also has the largest dining room of any Market Street location with lots of food options, an outdoor patio, and amenities like free WiFi.

"In today's society I think everyone uses all of their computers and laptops and smart phones, so to me that's become a way of life to most of our guests so to me that's a very important factor that we have that readily available to all our guests."
