The Lady Raiders have had an up and down start to conference play.

After getting a huge road win at Oklahoma State they fell at home to Iowa State but they had a chance to get back in the win column in front of the home fans.

Casey Morris was honored before the game for eclipsing the 1,000 point mark.

During the first half, Kansas State came out firing on all cylinders with an 8-0 run to start the game.

But Tech came storming back with a 10-0 run of their own with Casey Morris assisting Chynna Brown to put Tech back in front, 10-8.

The Wildcats would tie it back up though as Chantay Caron knocks down a wide open shot.

But Jackie Patterson was very good tonight with a team high 14 points alongside Kelsi Baker who also notched 14 for the night.

Then Casey Morris, off the steal took it to the basket herself. The Lady Raiders led by 10 at the break. Texas Tech took care of Kansas State 59-50, giving Kristy Curry her 300th win as a head coach.
