The Plainview and Lubbock High girls met up at Westerner Arena in a game that was more than just a district match-up. It was an opportunity for Lady Bulldogs coach Danny Wrenn to get his 600th career win.

The Lady Westerners hung tough till the end. In the fourth, Natassia Lopez finished off a nice inbound pass to cut the Plainview lead to 14.

But the Lady Bulldogs closed it out strong when Kristian Reynolds made a contested bucket to make it 37-24.

Wrenn got No. 600 in fine fashion, with Plainview winning
