LPD Officer Involved In Traffic Crash Near Tech Campus

A Lubbock police officer is recovering after he was involved in an accident late Tuesday night.

It happened just after 11:00 p.m. near the 600 block of University Avenue.

Police say the driver of a black Mustang ran a stop sign and then into a police cruiser.

The officer reportedly suffered minor injuries.

The two people in the Mustang suffered no injuries.
