The Lady Texans of South Plains
College hosted Western Texas
College Thursday night.
The girls were trying to rebound from a loss on Monday night.
In the second half Alexius Dawn found Shea Myatt just inside the arc and she gets that one to go South Plains goes up 31-28.
Lady Westerners answered back,
Breanna Burton with the long two-pointer to bring it to within 1.
The Lady Texans played well at both ends though, Dawn with the steal; she drove to the hoop to get the bucket and the foul. She would also make the free throw and the Lady Texans go on to win it 62-50.
