Police Respond to Stabbing Victim in Central Lubbock

Lubbock Police responded to reports of a stabbing victim inside a home in the 1900 block of Avenue N.

The call came in just before 10:30 Wednesday night.

Initial reports said the victim was stabbed multiple times, including in the chest. Police said those stab wounds turned out to be superficial.

An ambulance was seen leaving the scene several minutes after arriving, with the victim inside.

Police dispatchers said the victim had been stabbed at a different location before going to the Avenue N address.
