One
energy drink contains about as much caffeine as five cups of coffee and also
lots of sugar.
Drinking
multiple cans of energy drinks can cause an elevated heart rate and can cause
you to feel light headed.
Often
problems arise when people mix the stimulant energy drinks with drugs or a
depressant like alcohol.
Kayla
Kenady said she prefers to get her rush of energy from natural stimulants.
"I
use a juicer and we do fruits and vegetables and we've been trying to do that
daily and we noticed a difference. It just provides energy naturally instead of
having to put chemicals into your body."
