UPDATE: Police Release Details in Friday Nights Fatal Accident in North Lubbock

UPDATE(SATURDAY 12:10 PM): Police named 20 year old Kelcey Elkins as the person found dead when police arrived on the scene at the accident Friday night.
Elkins was the passenger of the 2006 Ford Taurus.
The driver Shelby Duncan, 21 was listed as having serious injuries.
Police say Duncan failed to yeild while making a left had turn causing her car to collide with a Ford F-350 before being driven into a traggic pole.
The F-350 rolled over once before landing right side up.
The driver and passenger of the F-350 Blake Willis, 21 and  Harley Wallace, 18 were listed as having minor injuries.
Alcohol is not listed as a contributing factor.

Around 9:40 Friday evening Lubbock emergency crews rushed to the scene at 4th and Flint avenue.
The Jaws of Life were called out to the scene as well. Police say there are two major injuries and two moderate injuries. Police continue to investigate.

One officer on scene did confirm there was a fatality in the accident.

Two cars were involved, and parts of 4th and Flint Ave. were shut down and traffic was diverted following the accident.

One car went into a light pole at the intersection, the other was a truck with it's front end torn up.  There was a large field of debris scattered across the street as well as into the grass near the road.
