Updated: January 30, 2013
Accident investigators with the Lubbock Police Department have closed the westbound lanes of 4th Street, between Elgin and Flint.

They're re-creating the scene of a deadly car accident that occurred near 4th & Flint on Friday night.

Kelcey Elkins, 20, was killed when the car she was riding in failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn off of 4th Street, onto Flint.

No word on how long that portion of 4th Street will be shut down, but it's likely to be closed for several hours Wednesday.
