The Texas Tech women's basketball team  hasn't had a lot of success in Ames, Iowa. Simply put: they're 2-7 all time at Hilton Coliseum.

That run of bad luck continued today in the Lady Raiders' 67-52 loss to the Cyclones.

Tech held a four-point lead at half but it diminished when Chelsea Poppens hit a bucket to give Iowa State only their second lead of the entire ballgame.

And they never gave it back after that.

The Lady Raiders will be back in action at 7 p.m. Wednesday, hosting West Virginia at United Spirit Arena.
