South Plains College Men Take Down NMMI

Tonight out in Levelland the South Plains men were back in action after their double overtime win over Clarendon.

Coach Greens crew was taking on New Mexico Military Institute.

In the first half, Malik Nichols got a steal and he finished with the slam dunk, putting the Texans up huge 32-8.

Later in the first, more Nichols, this time he faked the shot and made a beautiful up and under move for the bucket.

Kendal Amherson led the way tonight with 24 points as south plains rolled 78 to 61.
