A year after a man is gunned down in his East Lubbock driveway, his killer still remains on the loose, but police say this is not a cold case.

On September 22nd last year, police say someone shot to death 28-year-old John Wilkerson outside his home on the 2700 block of East 2nd St.  Police say a tan Dodge car drove up, Wilkerson walked up to it, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire.  They say following up on leads the last twelve months has not led them to any suspects, yet, but they're confident there are witnesses out there that can help solve this case.  Capt. Greg Stevens says the smallest piece of information could lead to a break in the case so, no matter how insignificant you may think your information is, they want you to contact them with it.  Call the Crimeline at 741-1000, if you think you can help police get justice for John Wilkerson and his family.
