The Red Raiders have hit a tough stretch of the schedule playing three of the best teams in the Big 12 Conference the last three times out, including tonight, taking on an Oklahoma State team that is as hot as any.

The Cowboys ranked 17th in the country, winners of five straight and they picked up where they left off with hot shooting from the start. Marcus Smart started it with the three.

Then Markel Brown took it to a whole new level with one, two, three, four, you get the picture.
He made seven three-pointers in the first half and finished 7-8 from the three with 25 points.

But Tech hung in there, Dusty Hannahs knocked down a three ball of his own to pull it within eight.

However Oklahoma State was unbelievable behind the arc, shooting 67 percent from three in the first half.

The lone bright spot in the 2nd half, was a beautiful pass from Jamal Williams to Jaye Crockett for the slam. But the Cowboys got the 91-67 win and pulled into a first place tie with Kansas and Kansas State.
