Beating Texas Means Just as Much to the Lady Raiders

It was a very special day yesterday as the Lady Raiders welcomed back the 1993 National Championship team, while sweeping away the Lady Longhorns for the first time since 2006.
The sweep against Texas improved the ladies record to 19-7 overall and 9 and 5 in the conference, and they are now tied for 2nd place in the Big 12. And as for the Lady Longhorns, they are headed the other direction, dropping their last four games, to fall to 2-11 in league play. But even with Texas being down, this year, sweeping them still means just as much to the Lady Raiders.
