Now down to 2A where Lamesa was battling Childress for a chance to punch their ticket to the regional tournament down in Midland this weekend.

Winner of this game gets the winner of Bowie and Wall

In the 3rd quarter, Cassi Longoria finds an open Kendra Spangler who missed the shot but Tanasia Cornish wass there for the put back, giving Childress the 33-31 lead.

Childress was up 5, when Lamesa's Joni Harvey took it all the way in for the score, and pulls them back within three.

In the 4th though, it was all Childress, as Janae Latimer finds Tanasra Cornish down low...

And just like that Lamesa's season comes to an end with the 58-43 loss to Childress.
