Anton ISD students, staff and teachers have been evacuated after a bomb threat was reported to school officials.
The Hockley County Sheriff's Department confirmed their deputies are en route to investigate.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
(TDLR) recommends all Texans take a few minutes to safeguard their families by
eliminating any electrical hazards.
A parent, who wished to remain anonymous, told KAMC news that all Anton ISD students have been evacuated to the football field and then were being transferred by bus to local churches.
We're sending a crew to Anton and will keep you updated on www.everythinglubbock.com as this story develops.
