Updated: February 22, 2013

As The Texas Tech Track Team waits for the snow to thaw out at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in Ames, Coach Kittley signed another West Texas native to the 4th ranked Men's Track team.

Dayton Greenshaw, a high Jumper from Sudan, will continue his career at Texas Tech. Dayton was a multi sport star for the Hornets where he excelled in Track, Football and Basketball.

Greenshaw is still in the middle of his senior track season but is a perennial State Qualifier and won a State Championship in the high jump, while also taking home 4th place in the triple jump. This coming season Greenshaw will compete in five track and field events.

Coach Kittley has recruited West Texas well in his time with the Red Raiders, as there are 9 athletes on the current roster from the West Texas Region.
