We are down to the Sweet 16 in the Texas State Girls High School Basketball Playoffs, as the ladies are less than a week away from the State Tournament in Austin, But they would have to get through the regional tournaments this weekend.

We start with a match-up of top ten regional semi's match between Whitharral and Grady.

In the 3rd quarter, Kalicia McCoy on the fast break, gets it to Taylor Moore, who goes glass to give the Lady Panthers the 25-11 lead.

But Grady would answer with the give and go by Ellyn Avery, as she cut it to a 12 point game.

Then, more Lady Panthers, as the ball movement found Scott in the corner for the three, and the 20 point lead, and Whitharral would not look back after that as they got the big win this afternoon 59-28 and they are on to the regional final tomorrow afternoon at 2pm from the Texan dome in Levelland.
