end as the Tulsa Talons (11-2) defeated the Hub City squad 49-32 Saturday
night at City Bank Coliseum in front of a crowd of 2,786.

Tulsa's Jermaine Landrum and Jeff Hughley were the benefactors of two Justin
Allgood passes as they each recorded touchdowns late in the first quarter to
jump out to a 14-0 lead.  The Talons proceeded to shutout Lubbock for the
first 18 minutes of the contest.  A 24-yard Chris Balseiro field goal made
it a 14-3 game with 12:00 left in the first half.  The two squads then took
turns exchanging scores to finish the half including Talons' Allgood rushing
for a one-yard touchdown with 30 seconds remaining, and Renegades Alvance
Robinson completing a four-yard pass from Robert Kent with less than a
second left for a 28-17 halftime score.

Lubbock was once again held without a score in a quarter as the Talons
completed a 17-yard Jermaine Landrum touchdown pass and 28-yard field goal
from Luke Phillips to increase the Tulsa advantage 38-17 heading into the
fourth quarter.  The Renegades fired back as Chris Highshaw collected a
touchdown reception 53 seconds into the fourth quarter.  The Renegades' John
King earned his team-leading 16th touchdown catch nearly 10 minutes later
with 4:11 remaining in regulation.  Victor Mann recovered a blocked PAT and
successfully completed a two-point conversion to cut the Talons lead to
38-32.  Unfortunately for Lubbock, it would be the closest they would get
the rest of the evening.  The Talons then scored 11 points in a span of 1:49
to clinch the road victory.

The Renegades will remain at home for the week, as they prepare to host the
Fresno, California based Central Valley Coyotes Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
The contest will mark the final home game of the regular season for the
Lubbock squad.  They close-out their regular season schedule with two road
games at Rio Grande Valley on July 21 and Oklahoma City on July 28.
