Lubbock Christian HS claims two basketball state titles

It's something you don't see everyday but the Lubbock Christian High School basketball teams did it. The Eagles and Lady Eagles both brought home state championship trophies on the hardwood.
The Eagles narrowly defeated The Woodlands Christian, 53-52, to win the TAPPS 3A division, while the Lady Eagles handled Austin Brentwood in the final with ease, cruising to a 56-38 victory.
