A Lubbock man was seriously injured after being hit by a car early Sunday morning.

According to police, a 50-year-old Hispanic man was hit by a woman near El Rodeo night club just after midnight on Sunday.

Police say the woman was driving home from work with her two children when the accident happened.

While patrol officers were on the scene, a 27-year-old rear-ended a Lubbock police cruiser.

Police didn't release the name of that person, but he was arrested on DWI charges.

There were no serious injuries in that accident.
