Fundraising Project to Help Restore Lubbock Home with Rock N' Roll History

By: Steven Poeling
Updated: March 6, 2013

Civic Lubbock kicked off an Engraved Brick Sale to raise additional funds needed to complete the Jerry Allison House Restoration Project.
The childhood home of Jerry Allison of the Crickets is where Allison and Buddy Holly wrote many of their hit songs, including "That'll Be the Day".
Crews relocated the house to its permanent and current site at the Buddy Holly Center.
Unfortunately more funds are needed to help restore the house. That's where you can help.
Those who would like to help are invited to purchase a 4" x 8" brick for $100 or a 12"x12" tile for $500.
You can download a form here or a form can be picked up in person at Civic Lubbock, Inc's office inside the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane or at the Buddy Holly Center at 19th and Crickets Avenue.
