Lady Raiders Fall in a Thriller on Senior Night

The Lady Raiders are coming off a disappointing loss on the road against Kansas State, over the weekend, but they had a chance to put that behind them tonight and send five seniors out on a good note to end the regular season, And clinch the 3rd seed in the Big 12 Tournament.
But it was a tough test against the team right on their heels in Oklahoma.
Right out of the gate, a senior made an impact as Christine Hyde capped Tech's 5-0 run to start the game.
But then with OU, down three, Morgan Hook drained the three, and tied it at 13 all.
OU was up by four when, it was Hyde again on the fast break, cutting the lead to 2.
Later in the first, all of the seniors came out last night, as Mary Bokenkamp drilled the three to tie it at 24.
Tech trailed 29-28 at the half.
Then late in the 2nd half, It was Hyde again, this time from distance, and her three ball had the Lady Raiders within one.
On the very next possession, 1,000 point scorer, Casey Morris, adds 3 more, and Tech was up by two.
But Oklahoma played some long ball of their own Aaryn Ellenberg, drilled it and they OU was back up by one.
Back and forth we would go, Morgan Hook got all the way to the basket and layed it in to put OU back on top at 72-71.
Texas Tech had one last Chance with Kelsi Baker and it was no good, and OU would seal it from the line.
Making it a tough night for the Lady Raiders who, ended the regular season on a sour note and will go to the Big 12 Tournament as the 4th seed, on an emotional night for the seniors tonight.
