It may seem early but Coronado is already starting their district baseball schedule. They opened up things with Abilene Cooper.

The Mustangs did damage in the bottom of the fourth when Tyler Blackwood made the most of a bases loaded opportunity with a 3 RBI double to make it 4-0.

Cooper had answer in the form of a Caleb Freeman RBI to cut the deficit to 5-1.

But it wasnt enough, as Coronado pitcher, Taylor Bridges, was throwing darts. He struck out 11 in the 5-1 victory for the Mustangs.
