Record-breaking rain brought mosquitoes in record numbers, and insect repellent is now a hot commodity in The Hub City! Mosquitoes are swarming the south plains, but if you're trying to fend them off with bug spray, it may be hard to find. United supermarkets sold out of 600 cases in just one week. Thankfully, their stores stocked back up, but others like Walgreen's and home depot are sold out.

The folks over the outdoor shop Gander Mountain say they've never seen the stuff fly off the shelves this fast!

"When they're coming in and asking us for it, they're telling us that some of our competitors are out as well," says Gander Mtn. store manager Greg Morgan.
"They're dealing with the same kind of supply issues that we're having. The demand was kind of unexpected, kind of abrupt so we're just dealing with it the best way we can."
