The South Plains Texans were in action today in the region 5 NJCAA Tournament taking on Ranger.
In the 1st Devonte Smith found Brandon Neel who takes it to the hoop with the nice lay in, and the Texans were within one.
But Ranger would respond, with back to back three's, like one from Rafael Farley, and ranger had the 8-4 lead.
But the Texans would battle back in transition, it was the number one Juco Player in the country Yanick Moreira, headed to SMU, but not before that bucket to tie the game at 8.
But in the end it ranger edging out south plains 80-79
