Lubbock Police Investigate Death At Concert Monday Night

Lubbock Police spent hours investigating a death at a concert Monday night, after eyewitnesses say a man fell to his death.

Police arrived on scene at the Lone Star Amphitheater just after 8 Monday night.

According to the eyewitnesses, the man tried to get into the concert, ran past security and along the outside where there is a balcony.  The eyewitnesses say the man then accidentally fell to his death.

Lubbock Police officers were also joined by the Medical Examiner's office on scene.  The investigators spent hours at the amphitheater taking photos and gathering information.

Police have not said if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the death.
