1. 5 US Service Members Dead in Afghanistan Crash

Five American service members died following a helicopter crash in Afghanistan Monday night. The cause of the crash is under investigation but weather is believed to have been a factor.

2. Queen Makes First Post-Hospital Appearance

Queen Elizabeth made her first official public appearance in more than a week signing a charter laying out the Commonwealth's commitment to equal rights after she pulled out of the annual Commonwealth Day service. Buckingham Palace says the Queen is still recovering from gastroenteritis.

3. SUV in Ohio Crash was Stolen

Police say the SUV that crashed in Ohio early Sunday killing six teens and wounding two others was stolen. Investigators say they believe excessive speed was a key factor in the accident.

4. Thousands Of Dead Fish Found Peru-Bolivia Border

Fishermen say thousands of dead fish have been found in a lake on the border of Peru and Bolivia. Peruvian fisherman say a substance poured into Lake Titicaca to battle duckweed algae are to blame.

5. Judge Strikes Down Sugary Drink Ban

A judge struck down a ban on big sugary drinks on Monday, just hours before it was supposed to go into effect. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says the city will appeal the ruling.
