1. Tug Boat Pushing Oil Barge Strikes Gas Pipeline

A tugboat pushing an oil barge struck a gas pipeline south of New Orleans on Tuesday night, igniting a fire that burned for hours and left four people injured. All crew members were reportedly able to exit the tugboat.

2. Cardinals Resume Conclave to Elect Pope

Cardinals from all over the world will resume their voting to elect a new pope today, after black smoke poured from the Sistine Chapel chimney on Tuesday. Italy's Angelo Scola is seen as the favorite among cardinals, according to the Associated Press.

3. Mo. Murder Suspects Apprehended

Authorities captured two murder suspects and a third inmate Tuesday after they escaped from a jail in Missouri.

4. Secret Service launches Hacking Investigation

The U.S. Secret Service has launched an investigation into potential hacking of personal information of First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Biden and Hillary Clinton. Some of the personal information appears to be accurate, including some credit report information.

5. Snow in Europe Causes 1000 Mile Traffic Jam

Heavy snow fell in parts of Europe on Tuesday, causing massive travel delays. In Belgium, police say snow caused a 1,000 mile traffic jam.
