Tadlock Proud Of Team After Defeat Over Longhorns

Texas Tech defeated Texas two games out of three this past weekend in Austin. It marked Tech's first series win over the Longhorns since 2002 and its first series win in Austin since 2001.
Trey Masek - who is from Giddings, Texas, received a no decision in Game 2 of the series while going eight innings for the fourth consecutive start and allowing just one run in the game. Masek currently leads the Big 12 in ERA (0.22), innings pitched (40.0) and strikeouts (40)Arizona State makes its first trip to Lubbock since 2006. Last season the Red Raiders went to Tempe and defeated then-No. 10 Arizona State, 8-4.
Texas Tech football coach Kliff Kingsbury will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Tuesday's game against Arizona State.
