Both Republicans and Democrats got together at restaurants around town to watch the second Presidential Debate on Tuesday night.  We knew heading out to the "Watch Parties" the Republicans would be thinking McCain was doing better in the debate and the Democrats would think Obama was coming out on top so, we decided to mix things up a bit and challenge them to answer an unexpected question.  We asked them, "If you had to say one positive thing about the candidate you're not supporting, what would it be?"   Many Obama supporters mentioned McCain's work on campaign finance reform and his time in the military.  Many McCain supporters mentioned Obama's ability as public speaker.  They said Obama is a "wordsmith," but does not have the experience to back up what he says.
There will be one more Presidential debate before the election in November.  It's scheduled for October 15th in New York.  Of course, you will be able to watch that right here on KAMC 28.
