42 Tickets for Saturday's Game No Longer Valid

This Saturday's football game against Nebraska is sold out as of today, but if you were thinking of buying a ticket off the street -- think again. The Tech ticket office just found out 42 tickets were bought from them with a stolen credit card. The tickets were shipped before the card was reported stolen.They've been traced as being shipped to Dallas, but who is responsible for the scam is still unknown.
The tickets in question are general admission, and have the number 137088 located near the bottom. Now all 42 tickets are invalid, so if you purchased one of these tickets you will not be able to get in the game.
To avoid any trouble on your part... ticket officials are urging you to avoid websites like EBay or newspaper advertisements. If you must buy your ticket from an outside source, try to buy from someone you know. Officials say the only way to truly avoid this scam is to avoid scalping altogether.
